About this Group

The Digital Health Research Special Interest Group is dedicated to rigorous study of digital services, technologies, policies and outcomes, with the ultimate goal of supporting and advancing digital health research. This interdisciplinary group brings together researchers and stakeholders interested in generating evidence and sharing best practices related to telehealth implementation, and will focus on:

  • Identifying critical knowledge gaps and priority areas for future research;

  • Promoting high-quality digital health research through interdisciplinary collaboration and shared resources;

  • Creating guidance for start-up companies for bringing new products to market with the use of data; and

  • Disseminating digital health research findings and evidence-based practices through publications, presentations, and educational initiatives.

We aim to ensure digital health research is aligned with real-world needs of patients, providers, payers and health systems.
