Hi Rebecca-
Thank you for sharing this valuable information and I look forward to updates on this exciting initiative. I honestly believe this type of project is needed in a lot of communities and from what you've described can serve as a template for others. I look forward to hear we learn from this project.
Kind regards,
Dr. Watts.

Subject: Interactive MyChart Training Module - Health System Agnostic, English and Spanish - Trialing with Seniors
Hello All! This collaborative is going to be great. Hopkins, led by Dr. Helen Hughes, has partnered with Epic (via a AAMC Catalyst grant) to create a standalone MyChart Training Module that enable patients to click through and 'play' in MyChart either independently or with a teacher. The module is generic, not associated with any one health system. Currently, you can only teach someone by sitting with them one-on-one and actually setting them up. This is a massive leap forward! We have just vetted the module with senior community members for initial feedback and adjustments and will start training sessions in 2 senior centers this Spring (funded by a Baltimore City grant). Designing for seniors brought a whole new set of challenges and I believe made a better product for everyone, regardless of age. We aren't ready to share yet but will keep the group posted and would love any tips/lessons learned regarding digital literacy training for seniors. Thank you!
