Hello Peds SIG members,
As I reassess the workflow of one of our peds tele-specialty program in acute setting, I am curious to hear of your experience for a seamless completion of televisits. A few questions I have in mind:
- What specialty are you supporting, how many departments are involved?
- How do local teams request teleconsults?
- Do you have assigned telepresenter to facilitate the televisit?
- How does your consulting teleprovider communciate with the onsite teams?
- Do you have an escalation process for pending/incomplete consults?
If you have a workflow that you are using and won't mind sharing, I appreciate that too.
Currently our workflow is not efficient and need to be improved. Im trying to see what model could work for this population/specialty.
